S.S.H.A Show 2008 |

Our first annual show took place on 15th June, way up in the hills of the Staffordshire Moorlands and what a great day it was. The weather kept fine and we had a busy day with 7 classes to be judged along with sheep shearing, sheep dog demo and rides on a shire or on a dray, also our own little mascot Solly pulling a trap. There was activity going on everywhere you turned. Our judges & commentators for the day were Cliff Green and Delma Nulty, and what a great job they did for us. Thank you to everyone who gave up their time to help us out as stewards & demonstrators, to the shire owners who came to show their magnificent horses and to the public who came to support our event and to our very kind and generous sponsors with out you all the day would not have been the success it was. |
